Truthfulness and Badness

What is the difference between doing good and being truthful? What is the difference between doing bad and being liar? A person can be bad, but can be truthful. Likewise a person can be good, but can be a liar. In this case, being truthful and being liar are not conditioned upon virtues but rather they are matters of discretion in which they require some sort of mindset than being something else. Meaning, such aspects of life are not something that can be governed by the likes and do not likes or the status stuff.

A person becomes truthful since that person is not necessarily good or bad, but rather it is matter of choice in which a person likes to be truthful from the experience of life one obtains than from the motive of being liked by others. The choice to be good or bad is very different from the choice of being truthful or liar. Although people claim that being truthful means being good, but the drama that is underway on this planet earth is quite opposite and different than what principles and theories tell. Thus, people live with mixed feelings and understanding of this matter since they are not able to see things in separate manner. Here needs quite a mindset to see things in distinct aspects.

When one becomes truthful in a community where lie and deception, conspiracy and sabotage are the foundations, truthfulness here is an enemy. One has to be liar, tricky and deceiving since truthfulness has no place and none likes being truthful. For example, if someone in the community which they think as big is found as liar and tricky person, and if one tells about the tricky and misleading aspect of that person, one is considered as garbage and nonsense since personality matters than being truthful.

In same manner, in community, truthfulness and honesty are the integral part of any given community, when a person tells lie about anything, that person cannot be liked and thus they could remove that person. Unfortunately there is no such community in the world, except the pretending and outward looking orientation of communities which claim that they are truthful, but deep inside they are not, and corruption and deception are between and within them. Fake gestures and smiles are part and parcel of such communities in which one is asked to give more important to the unity of that given community in which liars and deceivers are taken as good people.

These two elements of life as human reality are mostly inversely related due to the fact that they are combined and integrated with other aspect of human reality, which are needs and wants. Needs and wants create these two different aspects of human reality—truthful and good— and—liar and bad—which could need quite deeper and further way of looking these aspects of life as human reality.

While contemplating further on what it means by doing good, in which people do things with dual motives. The first one is with pure intention. The second one is with hidden intention. When people do good things with pure and sincere intention, then they are truthful. When people do good deeds with impure and insincere intentions, and they seek further aspects like compensation or other conspiracies yet to come, in this case people are lying since what they do and what they intent is very different.

Good should always be supported by being truthful within the inside of everyone otherwise when good is done with the underground and other hidden intention, the drama needs another script writer who can do the play in the right manner. Thus they need different actors who read such script and act on the stage since such aspects are not compatible. The same is true for doing bad in which there are people who do bad with the intentions of good motive, in which there needs to have another alternative which can allow them to do good deeds with good intention although they perform bad deeds with good motives. The good and the bad can have different interpretations with the context of any given community.

Bearing all these matters in mind, in any given community the number of good people are greater than the number of truthful people since most people who speak or write or tell the truth are not liked. WHY? The answer is crystal clear in which those who speak the truth are always interested to know the drama behind than what is on the face value or face book. In most cases, most communities are formed with hidden dramas and intention in which there are different aspects of any given community that most are deprived. In this regard, what is being good in any given community?

A person who is good in any given community is person who is obedient to the system in which such obedience could lead to being foolish and nonsense. A person who is obedient uses the jargon of that community in well manner. A person who is good in any community is like a parrot. A person who is good in any community prefers to be pretending and live like those honeybees that turned out to be like the flies at the end. A person who is good in any community has no freewill, in which one’s freewill is oppressed and dictated by the freewill of others.

A person who is bad, in most cases, in any community is a person who asks, why? A person who is bad in any community is a person termed as misbehaving. A person, who is labeled as bad a person, is a person who has integrity and uprightness and righteousness in one’s thinking and actions. A person who is bad in any community is a person who considers quest as integral part of one’s life. In general a person who has thirst in the valley of search is not liked by any community since such people will shake the foundations and values of any community since investigation of truth and searching are allowed to certain extent.

In such world of badness, it is not possible to have faith or blind imitation of others as requirement since it is not possible to believe or have faith without reasons and other conscious activities. Independent investigation of The Truth has beginning, but has no end since truth is relative and thus one needs to investigate the truth of every matter in every age and circumstances so as to reach the point of Truth—relative and contextual.

Why a person does have to trust anything without even asking and investigating? What is going to be trusted? Who is going to be trusted? Who is going to be trusted in world, trick is the foundation, lie is the corner stone, and deception is the building? Who is going to be trusted in a world liars have claim as authors of the truth? Who is going to be trusted in world where the book of truth has been written by the authors of lie? What is truth? Who is the Truth? Is truth a person or a personality or reality everyone feels? What is the reality of The Truth?

Taking these and other aspects of life, those people who are considered as good live playing the game of truth and vice versa too. As per personal experience, truth has no personality or group or direction. And they also say, truth has no sound or color too, and any belonging. Truth is something that people feel deep inside in which any given matter is true, and people also sense that it is true even of 1000 pages of evidences of falsehood are put to the court in order to justify falsehood as true. Khalil Gibran said, “say not I have found the truth, but I have found a truth”.
