Truth—Is not an Easy Matter

Truth and humanity has a very interesting relationship, where both were challenging with each other for many years. It is also fascinating to see how they have interacted in these long years of their existence, one opposing the other, one rectifying the other, and one fighting the other.  Even though they share same reality, for both are relative in terms of their nature and evolution, both have undergone many changes and faced many challenges before they reached what we call maturity.

Sometimes it is difficult to recognize abstract phenomenon with something physical and tangible reality.  No one has found the right tone or melody of what we all call the Truth, but all believe or think that people are passing through a stage of what is meant by the search for truth, which is a life time process, that has different layers in which one may not be able to clearly describe as to where these search ends or leads us, but with self created and invented hope that peoples connect such hope with faith and belief and they go in the path that people feel appropriate and correct. And this makes peoples search for truth so interesting and full of suspense, colouring life with surprises and unpredictable events by adding flavours to life.

As clear and plain fact, truth has no specific group or class for it manifests itself in different forms and contents that what is assumed as truth for one place and time, may not be same for other or irrelevant, for the nature of this world is constantly changing and shifting from one need to another, evolving from one structure to the other and transforming from one element to the other.  Everything changes and transforms from one element to the other, and what one assume true for one thing may not be appropriate for the other.  And people cannot say if the sun comes out from the south, it is not, for the reality of the sun is not a place or direction, but its qualities, which are heat and light.

It is such a fascinating ideal to observe how or what people call truth passes in different stages, especially those sciences or theories that we assume today as so normal and simple to understand, when they were originally invented, it was not such a simple task, for they have undergone many processes and challenges, but today we superficially understand, and accept them as simple facts.  It is indeed very challenging to come up with a new concept, and get recognition from the public, who has no knowledge and awareness of to what one has originally devised, in which many thinkers had sacrificed their lives in the past.

It is not a simple path to find something new and different which can be called and accepted as the truth in later days, especially if it is something that can put other peoples thinking an belief to nothingness as they have no clue of the matter which one has come about and they do not have adequate information about to what one has invented. Society and scholars want to weigh with the standards and knowledge they have at hand, which does not mean that what one has come about is wrong or their standard at hand is correct.  They judge with the knowledge and capacity they already acquired, which in cases may be inadequate to testify the validity or truth of any reality.

The truth has no easy task and is heavy responsibility one can assume in life since people live in tricky and deceiving world.  The Truth is not something an easy and simple job but rather it is the most hard and formidable task on earth, first to find the truth, and then to promulgate and be steadfast to it.  As a human being we all have two inseparable duties, one is to find the Truth and then to share it to others what we assumed as Truth, for one of the purposes of life as being human is to seek the truth and then to work hard for it so that others may learn and share something in life and people do such tasks as part of their job description in life which they are delivered by nature and life.

As many people can agree that every truth, that is powerful and changes the way society lives and thinks before, it will not be an easy phenomena to accept, and undergoes difficulties and challenges which cannot be compared to any of the hardship that anything may face passes four stages. First, it is laughable and people scorn at it since it is new and different and it seems impractical and unrealistic and it could be against the existing way of life and thinking style. The second stage is as it passes this stage, it faces rejection and opposition as it starts making sense, many thinking against it are manufactured to remove it and many kinds of propagandas are distribute all over.

The third stage will be as it passes the second stage, is it is violently opposed and to the extent the life of its author will be in jeopardy or they could be killed by mob or other means. The fourth stage is, it will be accepted as true and legitimate as it passes those three stages even if the author is dead, it will be promulgated and distributed all over since it is true. Nothing can stop it and it will be the governing thinking and truth and all other truths will be measured against it since it could become the centre of all truths. The magnitude of opposition and resistance tell the potency and profoundness of the truth it contains. The truth of great thinkers and personages of humanity in history faced hardships and tests, since they can see the future and reality, while others cannot even see what is next to them or on their neighbours too.

What makes our life more complicated than any other thing is our ignorance of the nature of our own reality, and our narrow-minded approaches toward the many aspects of our own life and to what people call The Truth, where we tend to compromise principles to our own emotions and feelings, tend to abuse the true nature of truth with our own personal hidden motives and desires.  Life on earth has counted more than many years, and no one has realized that whether mankind has lived with the standards and paths that are correct or not, but all people live in a way that they feel proper and their emotions dictate.

What are left over may be observers’ suggestions towards people life style, and their comments the way it was supposed to be.  It is funny that people are good at giving advises on how the way of life should be, but never practice it when it comes to their own personal life. This is one of the challenging aspect of life as being human since it is very easy to give advice for many people, but it is very hard to translate into action one single thought to the objective world too.

Our own interpretations on the way we live, and our willingness to translate into reality those ideals which are deep in thought is dependent up on our degree of maturity, our capabilities, and understanding of reality as well.  Our limitation, which is relative from society to society, has an impact on the understanding and realization of any concept in its wholesome, rather we are forced to have glimpse of what we can see from the whole, which may not be enough, and may also mislead and misguide others due to the interpretation we may come about from the part we are able to see.  This causes disastrous conclusions to the path we need to follow, and we may be forced to dwell on a sphere, which is hard to get out, but a world so warm and comfortable to us.

What make man so unique and great are the potential and the manifested capabilities, which can convert one element from one state to the other, and the capacity to use the power hidden in the realities of this cosmos, which can lead us to a deduction that man can do everything.  Our theories, laws, and policies that we may come about today are the results of past transactions, and may serve us as good torching light for today, but they are not a guarantee for tomorrow’s world. Tomorrow’s reality can be forecasted and modeled at present, but not necessarily can be exactly as perceived by today’s eye, and we should not expect like that.

For example, today the earth as said is spherical in shape, and tomorrow it can be completely circle.  This may not necessarily mean that the shape of the earth is changing from time to time, but may mean that the instruments that helped us to view the earth as spherical in shape may change and give us a conclusion which is different to the way we used to think before; or since change is something inevitable, due to the evolutionary process of life, the earth may change to a shape that is completely circle, by adding or reducing some new elements within it.

There is no guarantee to what we think, and believe, for every day may expect us with surprises, for life on earth is full of unpredictable phenomenon, which changes the course of our life from one extreme to the other.  Our belief and thinking are always tested through circumstances, which can influence the degree of our integrity and faith.  The amount or potency of the circumstances or situations [tests] that challenge the degree of our integrity are always greater in weight and volume than the amount of faith we have before this circumstances come.  That is why we are always required to be stronger and be patient under all conditions.  Allegorically it can be illustrated in the following way.
