Can anyone have two physical birthdays, though one is borne once? Jesus Christ was borne two times according to how the Christians celebrate the so called X-Mass in their given calendar besides the two officials birth and re-birth he had received, one is the physical and the other one is the so called, spiritual one, meaning, after he was baptized by John at the river of Jordan as they say and told us in their given book.
A day is a unit of time. In common usage, it is an interval equal to 24 hours,(23 hours 56 minutes and 4.1 seconds). It also can mean the consecutive period of time during which the Sun is above the horizon, also known as daytime. The period of time during which the Earth completes one rotation with respect to the Sun is called a solar day. In recent decades the average length of a solar day on Earth has been about 86 400.002 seconds (24.000 000 6 hours) and there are about 365.242 2 solar days in one mean tropical year. Because celestial orbits are not perfectly circular, and thus objects travel at different speeds at various positions in their orbit, a solar day is not the same length of time throughout the orbital year.
When people put 30 days as one month, or 20 days as one month as is the case of the Maya calendar or the new year in January or in September, the most important thing is the mindset people have in life, whether the new year starts in whichever month it is designed to start, this does not matter. When people do not change in thinking and outlook as they were in past and olden days, shifting calendar from one way to another is useless since time is one of the tools created by nature to serve humanity. Changing one calendar from to another does not make any given day to have 26 or 27 hours a day since nature has its own pattern in this regard, except adding certain confusions to peoples thinking and way of life.
The idea of changing from one calendar to another calendar is tantamount to changing the seat arrangements within an auditorium while the main problem lies not on the current arrangement of seats, but on the entire structure of the auditorium since the size and design is done without taking into consideration of the right variables and in this case the architectural make up of the building has to be re-designed so as to place the right auditorium with acceptable size and height so that it can contain numerous people and in like manner society cannot bring significant change by changing how it calculate days and months, but rather by changing its thinking machinery and the way its inner models of realities are structured and formulated otherwise changing the seat arrangements cannot bring about any fundamental change except the outlook is something different as it gets boring as days goes by too. This is like chewing gum thing in which the taste is sweet for the first few minutes, but it gets hard as it loses its taste afterwards.
While such drama of life is going on, the Ethiopian Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus after 12 days the Western world celebrate and this two given birth days of one given person create certain confusions. Even if there are legendary tales and other historical telling on the differences of the dates, it sounds to every genuine and independent observer that people are always obsessed with their own given passion and desires than the fact since one person cannot have two birthdays.
It is obvious to think that how come such people could agree on other aspects of Jesus Christ while there is deviations and contradictions on the first day of Jesus on earth, which should be one of the simplest thing to agree and celebrate on, forget about other concepts and understanding of that given teaching, in world and time that schism is becoming nature of the world’s religion that came across due to the fact that ambitions, conflict of interest and advantages, and the like are something which people should figure out by their own way and accent in life.
Though, Ethiopians have calendar which is seven-eight years back and late to the Gregorian calendar, which they say, Ethiopians always late (EAL), the birth day of Jesus cannot be late since he was borne in one day, there cannot be two days for the birth of Jesus since this is physical, and the date is something that can be clearly known and traced. Differentiating the days and dates of calendar in terms of the birth day of Jesus does not make any given society to be special, but it adds certain confusions to the thinking society.
As the one was discussing such matter with other people, they perceive oneself as the mad man. And one wonders as to what mad man looks like and who is the mad man, what is the mad man, one find out the following excerpts from the works of Khalil Gibran, the Mad Man.
You ask me how I became a madman. It happened thus: One day, long before many gods were born, I woke from a deep sleep and found all my masks were stolen—the seven masks I have fashioned and worn in seven lives—I ran maskless through the crowded streets shouting, “Thieves, thieves, the cursed thieves.”Men and women laughed at me and some ran to their houses in fear of me.
And when I reached the market place, a youth standing on a house-top cried, “He is a madman.” I looked up to behold him; the sun kissed my own naked face for the first time. For the first time the sun kissed my own naked face and my soul was inflamed with love for the sun, and I wanted my masks no more. And as if in a trance I cried, “Blessed, blessed are the thieves who stole my masks.” Thus I became a madman.
And I have found both freedom and safety in my madness; the freedom of loneliness and the safety from being understood, for those who understand us enslave something in us. But let me not be too proud of my safety. Even a thief in a jail is safe from another thief.
And what is quite interesting in here on the identity and personality of such mad man who was created by the pen of the Khalil Gibran obtains freedom, safety and security while entering in the city of madness while many people lose safety and security while residing in the city of normality.
Insanity means being genius since its irony is quite extra-ordinary as most people live and see the ordinary. In such insane world, the insanity of few people create the genius of the entire world, the madness of few people shape the future of the world, they connect the dots of life of past and present to the future and this is quite an astonishing feature and aspect of this world since happiness and joy to such people is different feature and aspect than the ordinary ones due to the fact that they are not normal, but they are extraordinary ones.
And Gibran wrote, on the New Pleasure, last night, I invented a new pleasure and as I was giving it the first trial, an angel and a devil came rushing toward my house. They met at my door and fought with each other over my newly created pleasure; the one crying, “it is a sin!”—the other, it is a virtue!”.
