A Personal and Social Relation

Each year, about 85 percent of the world’s children receive vaccines that protect them against tuberculosis, polio, diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, and measles. These vaccines save about 2.5 million lives, and the hepatitis B vaccine, although not as widely used, saves about 600,000 lives. Despite this success, more than 3 million people die from vaccine-preventable diseases each year. Approximately 1.5 million of these deaths are in children less than 5 years old. Of the top 10 causes of death in those less than 5 years old, several are infectious, meaning they can be transmitted from one person to another, a research work published on , The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Website state.

A disease is a particular abnormal condition, a disorder of a structure or function, that affects part or all of an organism. Disease is often construed as a medical condition associated with specific symptoms and signs  It may be caused by factors originally from an external source, such as infectious disease, or it may be caused by internal dysfunctions, such as autoimmune diseases. In humans, “disease” is often used more broadly to refer to any condition that causes pain, dysfunction, distress, social problems, or death to the person afflicted, or similar problems for those in contact with the person.

In this broader sense, it sometimes  includes injuries, disabilities, disorders, syndromes, infections, isolated symptoms, deviant behaviors, and atypical variations of structure and function, while in other contexts and for other purposes these may be considered distinguishable categories. Diseases usually affect people not only physically, but also emotionally, as contracting and living with a disease can alter one’s perspective on life, and one’s personality. Death due to disease is called death by natural causes. There are four main types of disease: pathogenic disease, deficiency disease, hereditary disease, and physiological disease. Diseases can also be classified as communicable and non-communicable.

Disease has two distinct features. The first one is curable. The second one is incurable.. In the curable one, one should consult the right physician so that one gets cure out of it. In the incurable one, one goes to physician in order to reduce stress and pain. There is no complete resolution and cure one can obtain as matter of consulting any proficient physician unless and otherwise one receive psycho therapy remedy and one is relieved, in cases, from pains and tresses.

Accordingly, there are certain diseases that come can be cured such as malaria, diseases that come from parasites and the like. There are also those diseases that can be cured such as diabetics, cancers and related.  Hence, people live their life according to the nature of illness they have and face in life. They know the type of symptoms and pains they receive from such given health complications, and they adjust their life and their life style in way they can communicate and interact with the type of diseases they face in their life. Otherwise, they will suffer.

There are two types of such non-curable diseases. The first ones are those diseases that are inherited their parents as wealth. The second ones are those diseases that come as result of their failure or other unknown causes in the life style they follow and they come about and science tells that that sudden change in their life style could cause such given illness. And they live with the type of disease they carry since they cannot escape from it. Here, it depends on how one perceives on what one carries

For example, I have personally experienced two types of illness in my life. The first one is the curable one in which I faced a disease called, jardia, which is caused by parasite while I was living in rural place and I drink bad water.  I also face other illnesses when I was 17 while I was put to jail while protesting in the college as college student against the military government in past regime. In that given prison condition, I had anemia, bronchitis and typhoid, all together at a time. And I was about to die. By now none of them rae alive in my reality, but I am still alive.

In the second aspect of such disease thing, I realize that I have diabetes when I was 30. It was long time ago, and one still live with it. And one clearly knows the pains and stresses such illness give and one mange it accordingly. In this scenario of life, one faces two types of challenges. The first one is the challenge one receive by the very nature and character of the illness. And the second one is what other people deliver.  And one knows such things thru the experience and challenges one has passed in life and one act according to the nature and character of challenges one face in life. This is what they call wisdom thing.

When one knows that one has certain complication one cannot avoid, one should know how to manage since experience tells something in life. In this aspect of life, life is going in way it should since one does not expect much things in life due to the fact that such condition puts oneself to be in certain fashion and way of life and one should devise one’s own strategy and policy in order to face and live with such a thing in systematic manner. One believes and think that one is successful by so doing since the first and major thing one should do is to avoid those people who could disturb and complicate one’s life that could give pain and stress which I did and will continue doing since it is very helpful mechanism and strategy.

In like manner, this world has two types of diseases as any give individual faces. These two social diseases or problems are curable and non curable ones. The curable one has their own solution as per the nature and character of the problem and society itself since societies have developed certain skill and knowledge in resolving them and they do it accordingly. These are fundamental and basic questions such as human right, freedom, and justice which hare considered as freedom of expression, seeking group rights and the like. For example, the current situation in the west such as the question of same sex marriage is getting its own solution in many western nation and there are similar questions that are resolved according to the nature and significance of such given problems and how society want treat them as well.

The second problems and disease society face is non curable one in which society still has inherited such problems as wealth from the fore-generations. These are tribal and religious, among other problems, and conflicts which are irreconcilable and irremediable since the nature and character of such given problems are not easy and they have been the cause of many wars and atrocities in the history of humankind. Society live with such given social problems as it is currently doing, by delivering certain space to accommodate differences that arise in terms of understanding and thinking—by tolerance and forbearance. Such given aspect of problems are not curable to date, but could be curable as there are certain improvements as compared to past.

One comes to an idea that the more non curable disease are resolved in better way at individual level and the better solutions and resolutions yet to come in resolving the non curable social diseases too although both should be treated in distinct manner. Mr X heart disease cannot be connected to fight between Islam and Christian, but the conflict of Islam and Christian could cause to many peoples heart failure too. This is just hypothetic view, not even proven. This is just an idea that one feels as result and matter of conviction that one has in such life there are many things that are interconnected and interrelated with known aspects and matters and also with mysterious powers and forces which are yet to be discovered.
